Application Instructions
Our application consists of:
The online application form (includes financial assistance request).
A 300-word essay about why you’d like to participate in this program and what you believe you’ll bring to our small literary community.
A high school transcript (official or unofficial).
One teacher recommendation letter (to be completed electronically via Interfolio - we cannot accept letters submitted outside of this application).
A 7-10 page writing sample. We prefer creative work (fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction), but also accept academic work, journalism, or other writing.
글쓰기는 사회인으로써 갖추어야 할 기본 요건입니다. 글쓰기 캠프가 아니더라도 긴 여름 아이들이 자신의 일상과 사고를 주기적으로 문장으로 표현해내는 것을 부모님들이 권장해주시면 어떨까 해서 캠프 소개 겸 몇 자 적어봅니다.
이 밖에도 미국 학생들이 자주 참가하는 글쓰기 대회로 스콜라스틱 롸이팅 대회, 영아츠 등이 있습니다.
